About This Server
Zedwork Latest Version Server (LVS) is a community-run vanilla Minecraft server. We play collaboratively (sorry; no pvp, griefing or raiding here) and typically connect all of our areas up by via the community Nether Hub.
World Created: 25/10/2013
We are committed to building a permanent world, and have no desire to reset and wipe everyone's hard work. We have been playing in the same world since the 25th October 2013. We have proven that we can maintain a public vanilla server without the constant threat of grief, and can protect our player's builds and items for years.
Community Projects
We are community-run, and the following community projects are a short list of highlights that everyone can benefit from. Of course, there are many other private projects you can visit and get involved with.
The Market
Originally founded by __Laurens__, now maintained by the Zriends, the Market provides a place to trade with other players. Shop plots are available on request, and all shops are protected from block-breaking.
Community Nether Hub
Built by luckyscharms323 and maintained by the Zriends the Nether Hub provides fast travel all across the world. Anyone may connect to the hub, though access is restricted to Zedlings (members) only. (Must play 15 hours on the server to gain Zedling status.)
The Council
The Council is a collection of Zedlings whom meet bi-weekly to organise community projects and events, whilst also highlighting any issues players have so they can be resolved. Meetings are open for all to attend, check out our forums for more details of the next meeting.
Community Farm
Maintained by the community, this public farm is located near spawn and provides both new and regular players with food. Just remember to replant! ;)
Protection
This is a vanilla server so there are no claim protection plugins, despite this we catch and ban griefers and thieves early on using clever command block magic. We are also protected by strong DDoS protection; we've never been taken down by a DDoS attack.
Rules
The current rules are below, but be sure to read them over in-game before you get going and feel free to ask any questions if you're unclear on anything.
Do:
* Replant crops you harvest
* Be friendly and kind
* Explore the world
* Have fun!
* Speak english in the public chat
Do not:
* Steal
* Grief
* Attack players (unless agreed)
* Enter builds (unless invited)
* Cheat (by using mods or abusing exploits)
Again, you must be sure you understand and follow these rules. We are extremely strict on rule breaking and you WILL be banned if you break them.
